"Kaliber ad lib"

Kaliber ad lib

Teatr uliczny Brćndende Kćrlighed działa w Kopenhadze od 1986 roku. Podczas swoich tournee odwiedzili cała Europę, dotarli także do zimnej Syberii. Występowali podczas pierwszej FETY w 1997 roku, gdzie zaprezentowali spektakl "Nabo Nabo".

Braendende Kaerlighed is the Danish street theatre company based in Copenhagen. They exist since 1986 and have toured the whole of Europe, even reaching the far Siberia. They are also well known to the audience of FETA as they have participated in its 1st edition in 1997. They find the key props for the performances in the piles of odd, spare parts from the real world. Braendende Kaerlighed has a weakness for big, bulky objects. Things that already have a story of their own, just waiting to be told. "Kaliber ad lib" Director: Bodil El Jorgensen, Set Design: Henriette Drejer Lubanski, Dramatists: Annegrete Kraul and Jens Kloft Actors: Kristian Dinesen, Line Svendsen and Jens Kloft The bugle is calling - it's time to go hunting. The hunting party arrives, fully equipped and armed to the teeth. The whole feeling is cheerful and warm. It's time to shoot - and to brag about it afterwards. The hunters happily engage in their rituals. They are together. They are inside. But the fellowship has its price. The rules must be kept. The tone becomes tougher. Slowly, the limits of what is acceptable slides down. Soon, they realise how easy one puts a bullet in one's own foot. The brand new spectacle of the Braendende Kaerlighed "Kaliber ad lib" had its premiere on the 19th of June 2004 in Copenhagen. It is a nonverbal comedy with a serious undertone. It will tell us a story about the fragility of humans, of how we have to take care of each other and how often we forget it. It is a tale in which HMF Braendende Kaerlighed portrays people to themselves. The tale is told in the well-known humoristic and physical style of the group. A different type of theatre, where the performers and the spectators cooperate in creating a highly charged spectacle on the streets of the Old Town of Gdańsk. Hunting and being hunted. Being the confident hunter and the terrified huntee. These are the two sides of the same coin.
