Kiedy wyruszasz w drogę, nic nie pozostaje już takie samo. Bo to nie cel, lecz właśnie droga jest istotą podróży – choć właściwy kierunek i szlachetny zamiar mogą być wartością dodaną. Spotkanie z drugim człowiekiem i doświadczenie upływającego czasu stają się okazją, by się zatrzymać i dostrzec najistotniejsze chwile naszego życia. Spektakl łączy happening, teatr wizualny, pantomimę i taniec, a całość utrzymana jest w stylistyce steampunkowej. To teatr wędrujący, który zaprasza publiczność do udziału w akcie twórczym i zabiera ją wraz z aktorami we wspólną, symboliczną podróż.
Teatr Akt działa w Warszawie od ponad 30 lat i należy do nielicznych w Polsce całkowicie niezależnych zespołów teatralnych, które konsekwentnie rozwijają własny język sceniczny. Sztukę mimu, gestu i obrazu plastycznego uzupełniają elementami cyrku oraz tańca. Nieodłączną częścią ich spektakli są działania interaktywne i happeningowe, wpisane w poetykę teatru ulicznego.

When you embark on a trip, nothing remains as it was. Because it is not the destination but the road which is the gist of travelling, although the appropriate direction and noble intention can be an added value. An encounter with other human beings and the experience of the passing time provide an opportunity to stop and notice every most significant moment of our life. The performance is a combination of a happening, visual theatre, pantomime and dance – all in the steampunk stylistics. It is a proposal of a wandering theatre, which invites happenstance viewers to participate in the creative act and venture with the actors on a joint, symbolic journey.
Teatr Akt has been operating in Warsaw for more than 30 years and is one of the few entirely independent theatrical groups in Poland, which have been consistently practicing its signature theatre. They supplement the art of mime, gesture and plastic image with elements of circus and dance. The interactive and happening activities inscribed into street theatre poetics are an inseparable part of their performances.
