Czym jest wolność i czy wszyscy rozumiemy ją tak samo? Czworo bohaterów zostaje nieoczekiwanie zamkniętych w osobliwej przestrzeni, która na czas spektaklu staje się ich więzieniem – miejscem ograniczeń, codziennych rytuałów i powtarzanych gestów.
Każda z postaci na swój sposób próbuje się wydostać i choć przez chwilę poczuć wolność. Ruch, muzyka na żywo i elementy realizmu magicznego tworzą opowieść o ograniczeniach, marzeniach i potrzebie wspólnego działania. „Ikary” zabierają publiczność w podróż pełną absurdu i subtelnego humoru.
Teatr Migro to krakowski teatr uliczny, założony w 2019 roku. Tworzy spektakle bez słów, inspirowane obrzędowością i podróżą rozumianą jako los wygnańca, migranta, wędrówka przez życie albo wyprawa do czasów minionych, które odcisnęły trwały ślad w naszej teraźniejszości. W ciągu siedmiu lat działalności teatr występował na festiwalach takich jak Chalon dans la Rue we Francji, Theatre is Freedom w Londynie czy FITS w rumuńskim Sybinie. Prezentował swoje spektakle także w Czechach, Słowenii, na Litwie, w Serbii, Estonii, Słowacji oraz na wielu festiwalach w całej Polsce.
What is freedom and do we all understand it in the same way? The four protagonists in this play are unexpectedly closed in a peculiar space which becomes their prison – a place of limitations, daily rituals and repeated gestures – for the duration of the show. Each of them tries in their own way to escape and feel free even for a moment. Movement, live music and elements of magical realism create a tale about limitations, dreams and the need for acting together. The show invites the audience to embark on a journey full of absurdity and subtle humour.
Teatr Migro is a Cracow-based street theatre established in 2019. Its artists create shows without words, inspired by and exploring the ceremonial and travel – understood as the fate of an exile, a migrant, a journey through life, a trip to times long gone, which have left a permanent footprint on our present. During its seven years long activity, the theatre performed at such festivals as Chalon dans la Rue in France, Theatre is Freedom in London, UK, and FITS in Sibiu, Romania, in the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Lithuania, Serbia, Estonia, Slovakia and at various festivals all over Poland.
